Flu Season Update
Seasonal flu vaccine is now available.
Harbor encourages patients to be vaccinated for influenza. High risk patients include anyone over age 65 and any younger patients with chronic illnesses such as diabetes or respiratory problems. Any health care workers should also be vaccinated to prevent spread to patients in their care.
Google Flu Activity Predictor
Google has found that certain search terms are good indicators of flu activity. Google Flu Trends uses aggregated Google search data to estimate flu activity in your state up to two weeks faster than traditional systems.
