Prescription Refills
The Harbor Medical Group now uses the Surecripts electronic refill service. The pharmacy can send us a refill request electronically. These can be filled even when the office is closed. To refill a prescription CALL THE PHARMACY where you usually have it filled. Most pharmacies have an automated system to process refills and also can let you speak with the pharmacy if needed. When we check our computers for prescriptions that need our authorization we can approve the request with out having to call the pharmacy. This not only is easier and faster but it also reduces errors. For urgent requests call our office (312) 641-2921.
