Dear Patients:
For the past 22 years I have greatly enjoyed practicing medicine and caring for you. Thus, it is with a mix of emotions that I write to tell you that I will be retiring at the end of November of this year.
My father and both my wife's parents died at relatively young ages and so my wife and I promised ourselves that we would retire at a young enough age to enjoy all the benefits of retirement. Good fortune has now provided us with that opportunity.
I have no concerns about leaving your healthcare in the hands of Drs. Carlson, and Litoff. I have enjoyed working with them for the past 18 months and I'm sure you will find a compatible physician among them. If you have any concerns that you would like to talk with me about, please feel free to call me at the office. I will continue my current schedule until Thanksgiving(2004).
Thank you for the privilege of serving as your physician. I wish each of you many years of good health and happiness.
Sincerely,
Mark Snider, M.D.
I have known Mark since I was a resident. He has been my mentor, colleague and friend. I have worked side by side with him at Harbor Medical for the last year and a half and I will miss his insight and good humor. We all wish him best of luck in his retirement.
Dr. Carlson, and I have gotten to know some of you and we are looking forward to caring for all of Dr. Sniders patients in the coming months. All of the your charts are in the office and we plan to give you the same high quality care you have come to expect from your personal physician.
You can see any one of the doctors in our group and do not need to do anything other than schedule your next appointment with one of us. You can read our biographies on the web site. If you have any questions you may contact me directly at extension 250 or call Darlene our office manager.
Sincerely,
Daniel Litoff, M.D.
